Taylor Corbitt is an intellectual property litigator who has a unique understanding of the entire IP “life cycle,” from planning and procurement through enforcement and licensing. Her experience over a decade of working with patents includes portfolio planning and counseling, managing prosecution of large and complex patent portfolios for chemical, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies, clearance and freedom-to-operate opinions, IP due diligence for corporate mergers and acquisitions, pre-litigation analysis, litigation, and proceedings before the Patent Trials and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Her breadth of hands-on expertise with each step of the patent life cycle allows her to see the whole picture and strategically advise clients to meet their unique goals for their IP portfolios, whether as a deterrent or as a revenue source.
Taylor concentrates her practice in patent litigation covering a wide variety of technologies, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceuticals and medical device product litigation. Taylor also represents clients in patent litigation concerning technologies related to consumer products, mechanical devices, and computer methods. She has been named an “Emerging Lawyer” in the fields of both Intellectual Property Law and Patent Law by Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s Leading Lawyers from 2015-2017.
