Mariangela Seale is a problem-solver who cares deeply about her clients. For Mariangela (better known as Merili), that means working tirelessly to make sure their legal needs are accomplished in an efficient and effective manner. Merili is dedicated to ensuring her clients get the best results when she represents them in general business and commercial litigation both locally and nationally before state and federal courts.

Merili represents a diverse array of clients, including consumer product manufacturers, healthcare companies, major retailers, and individual parties. She has handled claims of tortious interference with business relations and breaches of covenants not to compete, trade secret misappropriation, product liability claims, and employment disputes. She advises clients on avoiding protracted litigation through proper legal protections, risk assessment, business planning, negotiation, pursuit of injunctive relief, and alternative dispute resolution. Her experience encompasses all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, eDiscovery plans, motion practice, depositions, hearings, trial, and appeal. Merili’s scope of experience includes class action lawsuits and arbitration proceedings.

Merili is as devoted to her family as to her work. As a lover of food and wine, she enjoys exploring Chicago’s dynamic restaurant scene with her family.
