David Aguilar focuses his practice on real estate, finance, and construction contract matters. Clients value having David on their team for the strong communication skills and collaborative approach he brings to his work on the deals that build their businesses.
David represents clients in a wide range of complex financing transactions, including syndicated, mezzanine, unsecured and secured real-estate backed loans, and construction financing transactions throughout the country. He advises lenders and borrowers on loan restructurings and modifications.
David also counsels a variety of corporations and organizations, including banks, lenders, retailers, restaurants, and developers of manufacturing and multi-family housing properties. He advises in a wide range of sophisticated real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, and construction.

- $10M – Represented lender in borrowing base loan to New York based multimedia company.
- $53.6M – Represented lender (as lender and administrative agent) in syndicated loan for the new construction of an office building in Chicago, Illinois.
- $23M – Represented lender in loan for the acquisition and repositioning of a mixed use building in Nashville, Tennessee.
- $30.1M – Represented lender in loan for the acquisition and repositioning of a mixed use building in Austin, Texas.
- $26M – Represented global investment manager in acquisition of a medical campus in Pennsylvania.
- $130M – Represented acquiror in acquisition of processing facility in Iowa and adding processing facility as additional security to existing credit facility.
- Represented educational institution in the negotiation of its lease to relocate its campus in Arizona.
