Bio

A former assistant attorney general with extensive experience handling regulatory matters and administrative hearings in high-profile and highly sensitive matters, John Spangler brings discretion, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to his commercial litigation practice.

Clients in the transportation and healthcare industries rely on John to defend their interests in personal injury matters and other disputes. A strong writer with a background in political campaign communications and policy research, John immerses himself in his client’s cases and finds not only the right story to tell, but the most important legal and technical details to include in written and oral arguments.

Before joining RSHC John served in the Licensing and Regulation Division of the Michigan Department of the Attorney General, where he represented the state in administrative proceedings and handled complex questions around healthcare and other licensing requirements.
