Bio
Michael Crnich is an experienced corporate attorney. Having worked on both sides of a wide range of business transactions, Mike is an accomplished deal-maker with a sharp focus on working through issues, finding smart compromises, and obtaining results.
Mike focuses his practice advising middle-market private equity funds, fund managers, and institutional investors in structuring private equity and venture capital investments in start-up and growth-stage companies to get the deal done. He also handles general corporate transactions, including stock purchase and shareholder agreements and mergers and acquisitions. Clients appreciate Mike’s business-minded approach to his practice. He is diligent about helping clients identify and articulate their primary needs and concerns and then vigilant about ensuring that those priorities are reflected in the final deal.
Mike’s legal experience includes public sector work as an attorney for the U.S. Small Business Administration, where he helped administer Covid-relief loans and other key programs, and as a staff attorney for the Public Utility Commission of Texas, where he represented the agency in enforcing electric and water utility regulations. He also served as an administrative law judge for the Railroad Commission of Texas. This background informs his corporate practice as a strategic counselor who helps businesses navigate complex regulatory requirements and challenging economic environments to achieve success.
