As a skilled researcher and writer, Kaleigh Barrett leverages her outstanding communication and analytical skills to craft precise, focused, and compelling arguments that help drive successful resolutions for clients facing complex litigation challenges. Kaleigh draws upon these skills at all stages of litigation, from research and discovery through motion practice and trial preparation.

Kaleigh is a dynamic litigator with experience handling a variety of commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, trade secrets, insurance defense, and shareholder disputes. Informed by her tenure as a judicial and pro se law clerk in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Kaleigh has a talent for identifying and distilling key legal issues that directly impact the outcome of a case. She applies this expertise in her oral and written advocacy to strategically position her clients for the best possible results in furtherance of their business priorities and goals.

Prior to law school, Kaleigh worked as a Girl’s Empowerment Coordinator in Cuernavaca, Mexico, where she developed a values-based curriculum for at-risk youth. She continues to serve her community as a P.E.A.K. mentor for high school students at Holy Trinity High School in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood.
